Earlier, Chief Park Jiyoung began the first official schedule of 2022 by visiting and paying respects at Mokpo Memorial Park and An Byeongha Park.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the opening ceremony was held simply via video conference, connecting frontline security sites such as Gageo Guard Unit and Yeosu Police Station Ssangbong Substation to reaffirm their New Year’s determination.
In his New Year’s greeting, Chief Park Jiyoung emphasized, “Everyone will join forces to make Jeonnam the safest place again this year,” and urged, “Let us expand the security infrastructure through cooperation with the local community.”
