Gyeonggi-do Supports Youth Community Revitalization... 8 Million KRW per Organization
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province has decided to support up to 8 million KRW per group to revitalize youth communities and is recruiting participating groups until the 27th of this month.
On the 4th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it is publicly recruiting communities to participate in the "2022 Youth Community Activity Support Project," which is linked with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to help young people actively participate in local activities and build a foundation for activities and train youth activists so they can solve youth issues on their own, until the 27th.
The province will select more than 20 youth communities through the public recruitment. Eligible applicants are corporations and groups composed of at least five young people aged between 20 and 39 residing in the province.
The province will support each community with up to 8 million KRW for community activity expenses, expert consultation, and online activity promotion. Various events will also be held to build networks among youth communities within the province.
Youth communities wishing to participate can apply to the community affairs department of their respective city or county by the 27th of this month.
Supported groups will be selected through screening next month. For more details, please refer to the Gyeonggi Province website.
