Jung Woo-seok, Gwangju Seo-gu Council Member, Receives National Chairpersons Association 'Legislative Volunteer Award'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Jeong Woo-seok, a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Council, received the 'Legislative Service Award' from the National Association of Chairpersons of City, County, and District Councils.
The Local Legislative Service Award is selected annually by the National Association of Chairpersons of City, County, and District Councils from among 226 city, county, and district council members nationwide who have dedicated themselves and served their local residents.
Jeong Woo-seok, who received this Local Legislative Service Award, was recognized for his active legislative activities for local residents with a strong sense of duty and volunteer spirit even during the crisis caused by COVID-19.
Councilor Jeong said, "I am grateful to receive such a great award on the 30th anniversary of local autonomy," adding, "I believe this award is given as a sign to work harder for the future of Seo-gu, and I will do my best in legislative activities for the development of Seo-gu and its residents."
