Watch Infinite Challenge and Running Man on 'Samsung TV Plus'... MBC and SBS Newly Launched
Free Access to Popular Terrestrial TV Programs Including Dramas, Sitcoms, and Variety Shows
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Hye-young] Samsung Electronics announced on the 29th that it will start offering popular content viewing services from MBC and SBS on its smart TV service, ‘Samsung TV Plus.’
Samsung TV Plus is a channel-based video service that allows users to watch a variety of content such as movies, dramas, entertainment, news, and sports for free by simply connecting the TV to the internet.
With the launch of this service, domestic users of Samsung TV Plus will be able to watch 10 popular channels featuring dramas, sitcoms, and entertainment programs from MBC and SBS for free. Samsung Electronics plans to expand the available terrestrial channels to about 30 in the future.
On the MBC channel, viewers can watch flagship entertainment programs such as ▲Infinite Challenge ▲Mystery TV Surprise ▲Save Me! Holmes, as well as ended dramas like ▲Yi San ▲Coffee Prince.
On the SBS channel, viewers can enjoy representative programs such as ▲Running Man ▲My Ugly Duckling ▲Deep-rooted Tree. They can also freely access SBS’s popular sitcom rerun channel ▲Legend Sitcom and the drama marathon channel by writer Kim Soon-ok ▲Soon-ok Masterpiece Theater.

Meanwhile, the Samsung TV Plus service, which was first launched in Korea in 2015, currently offers about 1,300 channels in 23 countries worldwide, including the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Following the launch of the mobile app in April and integration into smart monitors in May, the content experience enjoyed on smart TVs is expanding to various devices.
