The 4·16 Democratic Citizenship Education Center announced on the 28th that the 'Danwon High School 4·16 Memory Classroom' records were designated as Nationally Designated Records No. 14 on the 27th.
The designation of nationally designated records is a system that designates and manages private records that have permanent preservation value by the state.
The Danwon High School 4·16 Memory Classroom is a space located in the 4·16 Democratic Citizenship Education Center's Memory Hall, where the classrooms and teachers' offices where the Sewol Ferry disaster victims were present have been restored to their original state.
The Education Center evaluated this record designation as a public-private collaborative achievement accomplished together with the private record management organization 4·16 Memory Repository.
