LG CNS Supports Hiring of IT Talent at Partner Companies
LG CNS announced on the 27th that it will support talent recruitment for partner companies facing labor shortages.
The company recently established the ‘LG CNS Partner Online Recruitment Center’ to help partner companies secure talent. It also offers a free 10-week professional developer training program called ‘U-Camp.’ The partner recruitment center operates continuously on the job search platform JobKorea.
As IT new technology markets such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and metaverse rapidly grow, securing talent has become the top priority for companies, but small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) face difficulties in hiring IT talent. LG CNS has set up a system to support these SMEs and provide job seekers with quality employment opportunities.
The partner recruitment center includes 37 LG CNS partner companies. Leading small and strong enterprises such as Abacus, Main Information System, and Naxnet are conducting recruitment for both entry-level and experienced positions. LG CNS also provides free IT new technology and programming education, including AI, cloud, and blockchain, to strategic partners. Since 2006, LG CNS has operated ‘U-Camp,’ a 10-week professional developer training course for prospective hires of strategic partners. Graduates of U-Camp can quickly grow into professional developers ready to be deployed on projects immediately. So far, about 1,000 new employees from partner companies have benefited from this training.
Based on these activities, LG CNS was selected as an ‘Excellent Win-Win Growth Index Honorary Company’ for four consecutive years by the Win-Win Growth Committee’s ‘Win-Win Growth Index Evaluation’ announced last September. In addition to recruitment support, LG CNS operates various win-win growth policies. It pays subcontracting fees entirely in cash and immediately pays monthly settlement amounts the day after billing, contributing to smooth cash flow for partner companies. LG CNS has also established a fund of 40 billion KRW to support low-interest loans for partner companies in need. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it supplied a total of over 170,000 masks to about 160 partner companies.
