Taekjin Hyung's Surprise Christmas Eve Appearance "Planning to Showcase Collaboration with Legendary IPs"
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Kim Taek-jin, CEO of NCSoft, announced plans to collaborate with the global intellectual property (IP) 'Berserk' on Christmas Eve, the 24th.
In a video titled 'TJ's Letter' released that day, CEO Kim stated, "This collaboration is not simply a form of IP borrowing, but we have naturally integrated the Berserk worldview and story to create the feeling of enjoying a single Berserk game."
Berserk is originally created by author Kentaro Miura. It is a fantasy set in a world where swords, magic, and monsters exist, depicting the life of the protagonist 'Guts.' The global cumulative circulation has exceeded 50 million copies.
CEO Kim said, "We decided on this collaboration so that global users with different gaming experiences can enjoy IPs representing each country together within Lineage W," adding, "Starting with Berserk, we will continue to introduce global IPs that will surprise people just by hearing their names."
