[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Kim Inchang, Police Superintendent, has been appointed as the 8th Chief of Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency.
According to the Jeju Regional Maritime Police Agency on the 22nd, Chief Kim Inchang was born in Jeju, graduated from Dongguk University (Department of Law), and completed a master's degree at Yonsei University Graduate School of Public Administration.
Chief Kim Inchang joined the maritime police in 1994 as a lieutenant (Cadet Officer Class 42) and has held key positions such as the Maritime Police Agency Intelligence Investigation Bureau, Pohang Maritime Safety and Security Office Chief, Jeju Maritime Safety and Security Headquarters Security and Safety Division Chief, Jeju Maritime Police Station Chief, and Maritime Police Agency Search and Rescue Division Chief.
Meanwhile, the former Chief Oh Sangkwon will move to the position of Deputy Chief at the Central Regional Maritime Police Agency.
