On the 21st, former Minister Chu wrote on Facebook, "Candidate Yoon Seok-yeol is a close friend of Lee Soo-jung's husband, but you insist that the husband's side's mistakes are Seoul National University's fault," and directly attacked Lee, saying, "Does the standard of fairness change when you take sides?"
Former Minister Chu said, "(During the confirmation hearing for the Prosecutor General nominee) then-People Power Party lawmaker Kim Jin-tae, who was on the other side, pointed out that Kim Gun-hee is not a master's graduate of Seoul National University's Graduate School of Business, but Yoon Seok-yeol insisted she was. Then isn't it Yoon Seok-yeol's fault for lying?" and added, "Does the standard of fairness change when you take sides?"
She further argued, "For Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol, 'exaggeration' was intentional regarding the crime," and claimed, "If Kim's false resume allegations were just exaggeration and custom, the investigation into former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk's family could never have happened in the first place."
Earlier, Lee Soo-jung said in an interview on KBS Radio's 'Choi Kyung-young's Strong Current Affairs' that regarding the allegations of Kim's false career, "There are not as many false parts as expected. There seem to be quite a lot of exaggerations."
Regarding the allegation that Kim obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Executive MBA program at Seoul National University's Graduate School of Business, a specialized graduate school, but inflated her academic background on her resume by listing it as a 'Master's degree from Seoul National University's Department of Business Administration,' Lee explained, "Kim has completed a two-year master's program called EMBA at Seoul National University's specialized graduate school. It has now been confirmed. She did not falsely claim to have graduated from Seoul National University's Department of Business Administration, so the claim that she lied is not true."
She continued, "The (Seoul National University) MBA program exists in the general graduate school, but they created another program called EMBA, which operates weekend courses for company executives and now issues a two-year master's degree," adding, "Therefore, those who receive that master's degree have no choice but to write 'master's.' This could be the university's fault."

However, she said, "Nevertheless, if it is not a general graduate school, a special education program should be explained in parentheses. Why wasn't that done? It's fair to question whether it is a general master's degree or not," and added, "From that perspective, it is difficult to see this as falsehood, but it can definitely be seen as exaggeration."
