[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Jinju City, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 20th that it will implement a "three strikes out" system starting January next year, which revokes the qualifications of bus drivers who repeatedly commit illegal acts.
Jinju City decided to cancel the bus driving qualifications of individuals who receive three fines within one year for violations such as non-stop driving, rudeness, and refusal to board, if they commit the same violations again.
To eradicate continuous complaints related to bus rudeness and illegal operations, Jinju City, which conducted a service evaluation project last year, decided on this policy through meetings with transportation companies.
