Financial Services Commission and Fair Trade Commission Provide Comprehensive ESG Disclosure Information and Investment Statistics for Listed Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The Financial Services Commission and Korea Exchange announced on the 19th that they will launch the 'ESG Information Platform' service, which consolidates ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) related information in one place, starting from the 20th.
The ESG portal is a platform created by expanding the information-sharing system that provides green business and corporate information, one of the 12 tasks in the '2021 Green Finance Promotion Plan,' to include ESG-related information.
The platform service can be accessed by entering the ESG portal address or by searching for ESG portal in the search bar of major portals.
The platform consists of four main menus?ESG Introduction, ESG Corporate Information, ESG Statistics, and Resources?and 15 submenus, covering everything from basic information such as ESG concepts and the latest trends to practical investment-useful data like ESG evaluation ratings of listed companies and ESG statistics.
In particular, it integrates and provides information that was previously dispersed, including ESG disclosure information of listed companies, ESG evaluation information, and information provided by other institutions, allowing users to conveniently access various information in one place.
