Busan Gijang-gun, 2021 Second Half 'Meritorious Residents' Awards
30 Individuals and 2 Organizations/Workplaces Selected in 5 Areas Including Military-Civil Cooperation
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Dooyul] Busan Gijang-gun selects and awards residents who have contributed to the development of county administration. For the second half of the year, 30 individuals and 2 organizations and workplaces in the private sector were selected for regular awards.
The awards were given in a total of five categories: cooperation with county administration, meritorious service in county policies, good deeds and filial piety, exemplary village chiefs, and meritorious employees of related organizations.
Winners by category include ▲For cooperation with county administration: Kim Dongju, director of the Korea Constitutional Association, and Shinsegae Simon Busan Branch ▲For meritorious service in county policies: 11 individuals including Heo Seonggeun, director of Gijang Hospital, and one organization, the Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Firefly Workshop Club.
Also, ▲For good deeds and filial piety: 7 people including Park Imsul, village chief of Dongbu 4 Village, Gijang-eup ▲For exemplary village chiefs: 7 people including Kim Jungkwon, village chief of Gyori 5 Village, Gijang-eup ▲For meritorious employees of related organizations: 4 people including Min Kyunghye of Gijang-gun Urban Management Corporation were selected.
A plaque of appreciation and a citation will be awarded to the recipients.
