SKT Launches Year-End Donation Campaign with Holt Children's Welfare Association
'T Direct Shop's "Hope Tree" Campaign
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] SK Telecom announced on the 17th that it will run the year-end donation campaign "Hope Tree" until the 31st of this month in collaboration with Holt Children’s Services and its official online shop T Direct Shop.
Hope Tree is a campaign where customers donate to vulnerable groups such as children awaiting adoption and single-parent families by purchasing specific devices or participating in events on T Direct Shop.
During the campaign period, purchasing the Galaxy Z Fold3 or Flip3 on T Direct Shop will result in T Direct Shop donating rotavirus vaccines needed by children awaiting adoption through Holt Children’s Services. For each device purchased, a vaccine worth 80,000 KRW will be automatically donated once.
SK Telecom will additionally accumulate 10,000 Happiness Credits per device purchase to be donated to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activities. One Happiness Credit corresponds to one Korean won.
Customers who donate vaccines through device purchases will receive T Gifts such as the Muas Rudolph LED Mood Light and the JoArt Christmas Tree Set, along with a sharing message card. The first 300 customers will also receive a scented pouch made by single parents.
For customers who do not plan to purchase a device during the campaign period, there is also a "Touch Donation" option. After identity verification on the Hope Tree campaign page, participants can choose to support either the "Single-Parent Family Support Campaign" or the "Medical Support Campaign for Children in Crisis Families." Each participation donates 100 KRW, with a limit of once per day and up to 10 times. All customers who participate 10 times in Touch Donation will receive a 10,000 KRW discount coupon for accessories at T Direct Shop.
