Gwangju Seo-gu Wins 'Grand Prize' for Regional Welfare Project Evaluation Two Years in a Row

In addition to winning the grand prize for the second consecutive year in the Visiting Health and Welfare Service Provision category, Seo-gu also stood out in various fields such as the grand prize in the Private Cooperation and Resource Connection category, the excellence award in the Community Integrated Care Service Provision category, and the excellence award in the Medical Aid Case Management Project category.

This evaluation confirmed that Seo-gu's regional welfare projects are leading nationwide, and it is notable that over the past five years, Seo-gu has consistently achieved excellent results in various evaluations and contest project selections hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, not only this year.

This is the result of continuously promoting initiatives such as Our Neighborhood Guardian Angels, where neighbors help and care for each other, the crisis household discovery teams uniquely operated in each of the 18 neighborhoods, and the Seo-gu residents' One Family Sharing Movement.

In particular, the Visiting Health and Welfare Service Provision category won the grand prize for two consecutive years, and the Private Cooperation and Resource Connection category also demonstrated its capability by securing awards for two consecutive years, following last year's excellence award, firmly maintaining the top position.
