The Korea Liquor Importers Association announced on the 13th that it signed a business agreement with the Korea Environment Corporation at the Kensington Hotel in Yeouido on the 9th, and will promote the sincere implementation of resource circulation systems in the liquor import industry through administrative support and exchanges such as providing information, education, and consulting on all aspects of resource circulation.
Attendees at the business agreement ceremony included Ma Seung-cheol, Chairman of the Korea Liquor Importers Association, Lee Young-seok, Senior Vice Chairman, as well as Kim Eun-sook, Head of the Resource Circulation Headquarters, and Song Byung-seon, Director of the Resource Circulation Department of the Korea Environment Corporation, among other officials from both organizations.
According to the contents of this agreement, the two organizations will cooperate and share matters including ▲ provision of information related to laws and systems in the resource circulation sector ▲ administrative support such as education and consulting related to recycling and eco-friendly packaging ▲ sharing relevant information such as domestic and international trends and statistics of the imported liquor industry ▲ efforts to ensure the sincere implementation of resource circulation systems by member companies.
This agreement originated from the strong will and consensus for ESG management practice formed between the two organizations following the packaging-related system education and meeting conducted for member companies by the Korea Liquor Importers Association in October.
