Aekyung Donates Products Worth 1 Billion KRW to Vulnerable Groups in Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] On the 13th at 1:30 PM, Aekyung Industrial will hold the ‘2021 Hope Package Sharing Ceremony with Love and Respect’ for Seoul’s underprivileged neighbors at the Seoul Metropolitan Food Bank Center located in Seongdong-gu, together with the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Social Welfare Council.
Through this ceremony, Aekyung Industrial will provide 3,000 sets of hope packages worth approximately 1 billion KRW based on consumer prices, consisting of daily necessities such as detergent, shampoo, toothpaste, personal hygiene products, and cosmetics. The supported sets will be delivered to the Seoul Metropolitan Food Bank Center and distributed to children from single-parent families, basic livelihood security households, and others through food banks and markets in 25 districts of Seoul.

The Aekyung Industrial Hope Package Sharing event began in 2012 with the purpose of practicing the corporate philosophy of love and respect, marking its 10th year this year. Up to this hope package donation ceremony, a total of 30,000 households have been supported with goods worth 5.5 billion KRW. In particular, since 2012, including donations from this hope package sharing event, Aekyung Industrial has donated a cumulative total of 27.3 billion KRW to vulnerable groups in Seoul.
