Choi Kwang-hoon Elected as the 40th President of the Korean Pharmaceutical Association

The Central Election Commission of the Korea Pharmaceutical Association announced on the 10th that Choi was elected with 11,197 votes, accounting for 55.3% of the 20,264 valid votes.
Running as candidate number 1, Choi had previously lost to candidate Kim Dae-up in an election three years ago. He succeeded in his rematch, achieving victory this time. Candidate number 2, Kim Dae-up, received 9,067 votes (44.7%).
The voter turnout for this election, conducted by mail-in voting, was 58.2%, with 20,462 participants out of 35,160 eligible voters. Among these, 198 invalid votes were excluded from the final count.

Choi graduated from Chung-Ang University College of Pharmacy and has served as the President of the Gyeonggi-do Pharmaceutical Association and Vice President of the Korea Pharmaceutical Association.
