[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Linkshops, a wholesale clothing brokerage platform operated by co-CEOs Seo Kyung-mi and Oh Young-ji, announced on the 9th that it has signed a business agreement with Singapore's BHG Department Store to operate a "K-Fashion Flagship Store" focusing on clothing and fashion accessories produced in Korea.
The 'Kollect' store, newly opened in BHG Department Store, consists of over 1,150 items from a total of 66 Dongdaemun clothing wholesale companies. Linkshops plans to update products once a week and continuously introduce various Dongdaemun companies to the local market.
In particular, Kollect is not a regular store but a concept store introducing Korean K-culture, updating popular drama-related products such as Squid Game, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Hotel Del Luna, Penthouse, Yumi's Cells, as well as K-pop merchandise from BLACKPINK every week.
Currently, about 13,000 Dongdaemun companies are registered on Linkshops, recording over 100,000 orders monthly. Notably, about 30% of total sales are generated overseas in countries such as China, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
