Ulsan Bridge Toll Payment Now Accepts Credit Cards! ... Card Payment System Established at Former Toll Booths
From the 13th, payment available regardless of credit card type
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Toll payments on Ulsan Bridge can now be made using debit and credit cards.
Ulsan City announced on the 9th that the card payment systems at the Yeomposan Tollgate and the former tollgate of Ulsan Bridge have been completed, enabling toll payments with any type of credit card starting from midnight on the 13th.
While Korea Expressway Corporation introduced card payment systems in 2015, Ulsan Bridge did not accept postpaid transportation cards or welfare cards, so until now, toll payments could only be made via Hi-Pass, cash, or prepaid transportation cards.
In response to continuous user complaints, Ulsan City began installing card payment systems at Yeomposan Tollgate and the former tollgate on September 6th, and once completed, full operation will commence from the 13th.

With the installation of the card payment system, not only credit card (postpaid transportation card) payments but also integrated welfare card discount payments (for the disabled, national merit recipients, May 18 Democratic Movement participants, etc.) will be possible, along with the implementation of a vehicle number recognition system (from 6 digits to 7 digits) and an integrated seismic measurement device management system.
