Hampyeong-gun's 'National Road No. 23 Dangerous Road Alignment Improvement Project' Secures 50 Billion Won Funding
7km Section from Singwang-myeon to Yeonggwang-eup... Dangerous Road Structure Improvements Including Sharp Curves
[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] A hazardous road alignment improvement project is being promoted for a 7 km section from Singwang-myeon, Hampyeong-gun to Yeonggwang-eup, Yeonggwang-gun.
On the 8th, according to the county, the ‘National Road Hazardous Road and Bottleneck Improvement Phase 7 Project’ promoted by the Iksan Regional Land Management Office (hereinafter Iksan Office) included the ‘National Road No. 23 Hazardous Road Alignment Improvement Project.’
Accordingly, the Iksan Office will invest a total project cost of 50 billion KRW, including 200 million KRW for basic design in 2022, annually to improve the hazardous road structure and intersections on National Road No. 23 (Singwang-myeon to Yeonggwang-eup), including sharp curves and poor alignment sections.
Upon completion of the project, it is expected to greatly reduce the risk of traffic accidents for road users as well as alleviate inconveniences for residents by creating a safer road environment.
