AutoPlus Ribbon Car Obtains Patent for 'Odor Care Used Car System'
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Autoplus announced on the 7th that it has obtained a technology patent related to the 'Odor Care Service,' which it first introduced in the industry through its non-face-to-face used car brand 'Re:BORN Car.'
This patent pertains to the 'Customized Odor Care Used Car Sales System and Method.' The company explained that it is a foundational technology patent for the odor care service, which thoroughly measures and improves the interior odor of used vehicles.
Re:BORN Car has been providing consumers with objective numerical information on the olfactory element of interior odor, which is difficult to accurately verify during non-face-to-face vehicle purchases, through the odor care service since last year to offer a perfect non-face-to-face car buying experience.
A scent expert certified as a perfumer is directly involved in the odor measurement and improvement process, meticulously checking even subtle odors that machines cannot detect. Sales are conducted only for high-quality vehicles classified within grades 1 to 3 out of five grades. The company emphasized that vehicles classified as grade 1 guarantee an interior environment that is almost odorless and very comfortable.
