[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Youth Volunteer Group affiliated with the Sancheong-gun Youth Training Center in Gyeongnam won two awards at the '2021 Gyeongnam Youth Volunteer Competition.'
According to the training center on the 6th, the Sancheong Youth Volunteer Group received the highest awards in the Excellent Activity Leader and UCC Individual and Club categories, winning the Gyeongnam Superintendent of Education Award and the Gyeongnam Governor Award, respectively.
The UCC titled "From a Greenhouse Flower to Blooming" submitted by Kang Min-ki (currently a freshman at Gyeongsang National University), a member of the volunteer group, depicts his experience of growing as a writer through meetings with junior youths during volunteer activities, having been like a flower in a greenhouse.
This competition was organized to discover youth volunteer clubs, leaders, and youths active within the province and to contribute to spreading a culture of youth volunteer participation.
