SparkLabs Plans Investment in Solar Facility Management Venture 'Metapas'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Jeong-su] Startup accelerator (AC) SparkLabs announced on the 6th that it has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Metapas, a company specializing in defect management for solar power plants.
Metapas is a small and strong startup located in the Naju region of Jeollanam-do. It provides services that collect, analyze, and manage defect data of solar power plant facilities using a drone platform. This service aims to enhance the safety of facilities and extend their lifespan through systematic management.
The Small and Strong Special Zone is a system designed to support region-led innovative growth. It designates and fosters R&D special zones centered around key technological institutions in the region. A total of 12 regions nationwide have been designated as Small and Strong Special Zones.
