KakaoBank Extends ATM Usage Fee Waiver for Six More Months Until Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] KakaoBank announced on the 30th that it will extend its ATM fee waiver policy until June 30 next year.
KakaoBank account holders and 'KakaoBank Mini' customers can use withdrawal, deposit, and transfer services at all ATMs installed nationwide in convenience stores, banks, and other locations without any fees.
KakaoBank has maintained the ATM fee waiver policy since July 2017. As of the end of the third quarter this year, the ATM fees paid by KakaoBank on behalf of its customers amount to 174.2 billion KRW.

A KakaoBank official stated, "We also do not charge fees for all KRW transfers, including account transfers, KakaoTalk friend transfers, and open banking."
