NH Amundi Asset Management Donates 100 Million KRW to Enhance Welfare for Farmers
As Part of ESG Management Practice
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] NH-Amundi Asset Management announced on the 30th that it donated 100 million KRW to the NongHyup Foundation, including funds raised through fund management, as part of its ESG management efforts on the 29th.
NH-Amundi Asset Management plans and carries out five rural volunteer activities, two flower farm support events, and five donation activities throughout the year as part of NH NongHyup Financial Group's social value and green finance campaign "Let's Work on ESG."
Park Hak-joo, CEO of NH-Amundi Asset Management, stated, "We have been setting aside a portion of our profits as funds for social contribution activities," adding, "We hope this donation will be a small hope for rural areas struggling under increasingly difficult conditions due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic."

Shin Jong-hyun, Secretary General of the NongHyup Foundation, said, "The donated amount will be used as resources for supporting agricultural workers' children scholarships and operating the NongHyup Scholarship Hall, among other welfare support for agricultural workers," and added, "We hope this will serve as an opportunity to further spread the culture of donations for the welfare of agricultural workers so that more farmers can benefit from welfare services."
