[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Roh Hyun-song, Mayor of Gangseo District, attended the '41st Gangseo District Residents Reading Contest Awards Ceremony' held on the afternoon of the 26th in the district office's main conference room to encourage the awardees.
The event, organized by the Saemaeul Library Central Association Gangseo Branch (Chairperson Ko Byung-ae), proceeded in the order of ▲judges' comments ▲awards ceremony ▲reading report presentations on outstanding winning works.
Awards were given to a total of 27 recipients, including Grand Prize (1 group, 7 individuals), Excellence Award (7), Merit Award (7), and Encouragement Award (5).
Mayor Roh Hyun-song stated, "The Gangseo District Residents Reading Contest, now in its 41st year, plays an important role in inspiring residents' enthusiasm for reading and improving writing skills," adding, "The district will continue to make efforts to spread the reading culture within the community."
