Yeonggwang-gun Conducts Influencer-Invited Major Tourist Attractions Fam Tour

[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 26th that it held a fam tour inviting 10 influential bloggers and Instagram influencers with high impact from the 24th to the 25th.

The county plans to introduce and promote a healing tourism course that connects Yeonggwang's beautiful tourist attractions, delicious food, and meditation experiences to heal the psychological wounds caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, in line with the phased transition to a daily recovery quarantine system to recover from the prolonged fatigue of daily life and the stagnant local economy due to COVID-19.

This fam tour started at the thousand-year-old temple Bulgapsa, then visited Baeksu Coastal Road with its beautiful sunset, the sunset observatory photo spot, the four major religious cultural heritage sites, and Chilsan Tower, the tallest tower in Jeollanam-do at 111 meters.

In addition to major tourist sites, participants personally experienced Yeonggwang's representative delicacies such as dried yellow corvina and clams, and spent time healing their weary minds through meditation experiences along with feeling the noble spirit at the county's religious sacred sites, where four major religious cultural heritages, rare even globally, are gathered.

A county official said, "In preparation for the expected increase in domestic travel demand due to phased daily recovery, we will create various contents to attract and retain many tourists in the county, respond to changes in the tourism environment through active tourism promotion marketing, and strive to revitalize tourism in Yeonggwang-gun."
