Ulsan Office of Education Launches Integrity Campaign Together with Labor Union
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Trainee Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] On the 26th, the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education held a campaign to pledge a clean society with the public officials' labor unions around the Taehwagang National Garden.
The event was attended by Lee Yong-gyun, Deputy Superintendent of Ulsan Office of Education, and executives and integrity officers from four local public officials' labor unions (Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education Public Officials' Labor Union, Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education General Public Officials' Labor Union, National Public Officials' Labor Union Education Headquarters Ulsan Branch, Ulsan Office of Education Technical Public Officials' Labor Union), totaling about 20 participants.
Participants promised citizens to prevent corruption and practice integrity while distributing leaflets on the Anti-Graft Act and whistleblowing on corruption. At the same time, they carried out environmental cleanup activities around the Taehwagang National Garden.
An executive of one labor union said, "We hope that the integrity campaign targeting citizens in the field will continue."
Superintendent No Ok-hee said, "We plan to operate various programs to encourage support and participation from the local community."
