Yeonggwang-gun to Conduct 'Individual House Price Characteristic Survey' Starting Next Month

[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 25th that from the 1st to the end of next month, a comprehensive individual housing characteristic survey will be conducted simultaneously on detached and multi-family houses within the jurisdiction.

The targets of this survey are 15,405 detached and multi-family houses, and 7,261 general buildings will also be surveyed together to enhance the accuracy of property tax assessment data.

Previously, on the 24th, to improve the professionalism of the survey, training on survey methods was conducted at the county office's informatization training center for financial officers and surveyors from the county, towns, and townships.

Individual housing prices are provided as price information for the housing market and are used as taxation data for local taxes such as property tax and acquisition tax, as well as national taxes related to real estate such as capital gains tax and comprehensive real estate holding tax. They are also used as a basis for calculating health insurance premiums and serve as standards for various public administrative tasks.

A county official stated, “Since individual housing prices are directly linked to the property rights of residents, we will do our best to ensure accurate and fair pricing,” and added, “We ask for the active cooperation of residents when surveyors visit on-site during the survey period.”
