[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] On the 25th, the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) announced that it held a video conference with the heads of patent offices from 10 ASEAN countries at the Government Complex Daejeon. The Korea-ASEAN Heads of Patent Offices Meeting is being held for the fourth time this year. At the meeting, key discussions focused on strengthening ASEAN intellectual property capabilities, including improvements to the intellectual property system. Additionally, the heads of each office agreed to mutually cooperate in activating the transfer and utilization of patented technologies between Korean and ASEAN companies.
