The benefit applies to all male and female reservists from the Army, Navy, and Air Force, regardless of rank, including officers, non-commissioned officers, and enlisted soldiers. Eligible applicants must present a military service verification document (discharge certificate) when applying to franchise GS25.
Since 2010, GS Retail has operated about 300 stores in Navy PXs and Air Force bases, supplying products even to remote island areas such as Baengnyeongdo and Eocheongdo, thereby enhancing the welfare of military personnel and fulfilling its role as a public service network. Starting this month, GS25 opened a hybrid store combining staffed and unmanned operations within the Armed Forces Capital Hospital, the military's top medical institution, providing convenience for soldiers and patients.
