Geochang-gun Provides Healing Opportunities for COVID-19 Volunteers
Anti-Aging Healing Land, Susungdae, and Wooden Culture Experience Center Tours and Activities
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun announced that on the 23rd and 25th, over two days, it will hold a ‘Local Attractions Tour and Healing Event’ for about 60 outstanding volunteers who participated in volunteer activities related to COVID-19 through the county volunteer center.
This event encouraged the efforts of outstanding volunteers involved in COVID-19 related activities and volunteers who participated in housing environment improvement activities such as home repairs to ensure the safe daily lives of marginalized and vulnerable neighbors, and comforted their bodies and minds exhausted by COVID-19.
On the day, about 40 volunteers were divided into two groups of 20 per bus and toured and experienced facilities such as the Anti-Aging Healing Land in Gajo-myeon, the Wooden Culture Experience Center in Suseungdae, Wicheon-myeon, and Haneul Hosu, an agricultural corporation in Buksang-myeon aiming for diversification of natural cosmetics. Additionally, 20 volunteers are scheduled to participate on the 25th.
