[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro), together with Seongbuk Cultural Foundation (CEO Lee Geon-wang) and Seongbuk Jingyeong Public-Private Secretariat, will hold the ‘2021 Seongbuk Jingyeong × Open Space Festa’ throughout Seongbuk-gu from the 23rd to the 27th.
Now in its 9th year, the Seongbuk Jingyeong Festival is a platform festival connecting various genre programs that capture the unique charm of Seongbuk, including history, culture, arts, and daily life, with 2,000 participants every year.
The ‘2021 Seongbuk Jingyeong × Open Space Festa’ is a Seongbuk cultural city connection project prepared by Seongbuk-gu and the Seongbuk Cultural Foundation. It is meaningful in that it establishes a festival ecosystem foundation where various spaces and entities cooperate, confirming the future potential of Seongbuk as a cultural city.
The festival begins on November 23 at 10 a.m. with an ‘Opening Relay Talk Show.’ It can be participated in via online live streaming on the Seongbuk Cultural Foundation’s YouTube channel. Other programs such as performances, exhibitions, markets, and experiences will be held free of charge at a total of 13 offline venues, including the complex cultural space ‘Chararinangman’ located in Jeongneung-dong.
Participation in the ‘2021 Seongbuk Jingyeong × Open Space Festa’ is possible through on-site registration and advance reservation.
