This is the scale of the 2022 season of the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour. On the 20th (Korean time), the largest total prize money ever, along with the schedule for next year and the prize money for each tournament, was finalized and announced. Starting with the Hilton Grand Vacations Championship (total prize money of $1.2 million) held in Orlando, Florida, USA in January, the season consists of a total of 34 tournaments, ending with the CME Group Tour Championship (total prize money of $7 million) in November. The previous record for the highest total prize money in a season was $70.55 million in 2019.

The five major tournaments proceed in the following order: the Chevron Championship (formerly ANA Inspiration) in March, the U.S. Women's Open and KPMG Women's PGA Championship in June, the Evian Championship in July, and the AIG Women's Open in August. The venue for the BMW Ladies Championship, held in Korea in October, has not yet been decided. The total prize money for the CME Group Tour Championship increased from $5 million this year to $7 million. The winner's prize also rose to $2 million, the highest ever in women's golf history.
