Food Delivery App 'Yellow Box' Debuts in Jincheon, Chungbuk … "20% Order Amount Accumulation"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Keystone Hands Co., Ltd. announced on the 20th that it has launched the food delivery application (app) 'Yellow Box,' which offers up to 20% points accumulation with every order, in Chungbuk Innovation City (Jincheon). Keystone Hands is a startup that developed its own business model called PIF (Pay It Forward) and a mobile payment technology called NFSC through industry-academic cooperation with Hanyang University.
Yellow Box continuously implements a 'point accumulation service' that awards 1,000 won for every 5,000 won spent on food delivery payments. According to the company, after analyzing the ordering patterns and needs of delivery app users and affiliated stores, they believe that if users' expectations can be met through strong benefits, there is a good chance of success even in the food delivery app market already dominated by large platforms.
A Keystone Hands representative emphasized, "It is important not only the size of the benefits but also that the method of receiving those benefits is simple and convenient." They added, "Yellow Box possesses NFSC mobile payment technology, allowing easy processing without complicated steps even when using simple payment methods such as credit cards, KakaoPay, or Toss."
The first service area, Chungbuk Innovation City, is a small city with a population of 30,000. It was selected as the most suitable location for verifying services and business due to its ease of statistical analysis, balanced distribution of residential and commercial areas, and population distribution.
A Keystone Hands representative stated, "From January next year, after the verification process is completed, we plan to expand the service area to other cities." They added, "We will provide more benefits to users through various marketing strategies such as gift coupons, review coupons, Hully (excellent review) service, and Yellow Cash."
