[Haenam＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jeonnam Haenam-gun announced on the 19th that it held the ‘7th Ttangkkeut Aisarang Stroller Festival’ at the multipurpose room of the Culture and Arts Center.

The Aisarang Stroller Festival, held annually with the goal of making Haenam a good place to give birth and raise children, brings together families with children born in the area, children, families, and residents to create a birth-friendly local atmosphere.

This year’s festival featured a commemorative ceremony along with various performances such as a magical journey show for families to enjoy, the Ttangkkeut Aisarang photo contest awards and exhibition of winning works, and the screening of a promotional video on birth policies.

At the commemorative ceremony, congratulatory performances by children from Artville Daycare Center and a creative group dance by the Daeunjeong Dance Troupe were held, and awards were presented to 10 winners of the photo contest as well as families with multiple children and late-born children, recognized as the best family.

The 25 winning photo contest works will be exhibited for two weeks in the lobby of the Culture and Arts Center and the first floor of the new government building, and the promotional video, produced to introduce excellent birth policies promoted by Haenam-gun, is being publicized through SNS and other channels.

County Governor Myeong Hyun-gwan said, “We organized this event to help residents, who are going through a difficult time due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, rediscover the value of family and provide a time for healing,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to make Haenam-gun a good place to give birth and raise children.”
