Three Farmers from Hamyang-gun Receive Ministerial Commendation on the 26th Agricultural Day

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam announced that three farmers from Hamyang-gun received commendations from the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs at the 26th Farmers' Day event held at Changwon Convention Center on the 19th.
Farmers' Day was established on November 11, 1996, to boost the morale of farmers facing difficulties such as market liberalization following the launch of the WTO, and this year marks the 26th anniversary.
Considering the difficult conditions and situations in the agricultural sector due to damages from COVID-19, natural disasters, and ASF, the event was scaled down and focused mainly on the awards ceremony.
At the awards ceremony, three individuals from the Hamyang area?Lee Jin-guk (Sudong-myeon), On Won-seok (Anui-myeon), and Park Yeon-ok (Byeonggok-myeon)?were recognized for their dedicated contributions to the development of agriculture and rural communities and received commendations from the Minister.
