[Hampyeong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong County in Jeonnam announced on the 18th that it will provide ‘Subsidies for the Creation of Eco-friendly Agricultural Complexes’ to farms certified for practicing eco-friendly agriculture.
The support targets farms that have obtained eco-friendly certification by either self-manufacturing or purchasing eco-friendly agricultural materials, and the eco-friendly agricultural product certification must be valid until the end of this year.
Farms wishing to apply for support should submit their applications to the local eup/myeon office by the 10th of next month.

The payment rates based on certified area per hectare are as follows: ▲Fruit trees 1.7 million KRW (organic), 1.1 million KRW (pesticide-free) ▲Vegetables 1.6 million KRW (organic), 1 million KRW (pesticide-free) ▲Rice and special crops 1.1 million KRW (organic), 0.5 million KRW (pesticide-free) ▲Others 1 million KRW (organic), 0.4 million KRW (pesticide-free).

The Eco-friendly Agricultural Complex Creation Project is a provincial subsidy project (20% provincial, 80% county funding) aimed at establishing an eco-friendly agricultural environment, and the subsidies will be provided differentially according to the agricultural product type and eco-friendly certification level.
