[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping concluded a 194-minute virtual summit on the 16th (U.S. time, the 15th). The content of the outcome from the leaders' first meeting is drawing attention.
President Biden and President Xi held the meeting from 8:46 a.m. to 10:42 a.m. Beijing time, lasting 1 hour and 56 minutes.
China's CCTV reported that "the first half lasted about 30 minutes longer than expected."
The two leaders then resumed the meeting after a break at 11:06 a.m. and continued the second half until 12:24 p.m., lasting 1 hour and 18 minutes.
