Kibo Signs Business Agreement with Hwaseong City and Hwaseong Industry Promotion Agency
Cooperation for Fostering Future Strategic Industries and Strengthening Competitiveness in Hwaseong Region
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 16th that it signed a 'Business Cooperation Agreement for the Development of Hwaseong City's Future Industries' with Hwaseong City (Mayor Seo Cheol-mo) and Hwaseong Industry Promotion Agency (Director Na Won-ju, hereinafter referred to as the Promotion Agency) at the meeting room of Hwaseong Industry Promotion Agency located in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
This agreement was prepared with the purpose of establishing a cooperative network for the efficient implementation of Hwaseong City's mid- to long-term industrial plans and national strategies, such as the digital transformation of Hwaseong City's strategic industries and the government's carbon neutrality promotion strategy.
Taking this business cooperation agreement as an opportunity, Kibo plans to promote support for technology protection and public technology transfer and commercialization for companies engaged in Hwaseong City's future strategic industries, and actively cooperate to enhance the development and competitiveness of the local industry.
Kim Young-gap, director of Kibo, said, "We expect this agreement to serve as an opportunity for Kibo, local governments, and public research institutes to collaborate in supporting future industries in the Hwaseong area," adding, "Kibo will continue to actively strive to contribute to regional economic development through various customized financial and non-financial programs."
