The Korea Customs Service announced on the 15th that on the 12th, they caught 416 containers of urea solution, each weighing 10 kg, smuggled by hiding them among normal cargo imported from China to Incheon Port.
The Customs Service is investigating those involved in the attempted smuggling of urea solution and, in cooperation with related agencies, plans to establish measures to allow the distribution of these goods in the market.
Due to the current severe supply shortage of urea solution, the Customs Service is supporting expedited customs clearance for goods properly declared for import to facilitate smooth supply.
