GIST Korea Culture Technology Institute Hosts ACC Creation and Production Forum
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] GIST (Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, President Kim Ki-seon) Korea Institute of Cultural Technology (Director Jeon Moon-gu) announced on the 15th that it will hold the 'ACC Creation and Production Forum' over two days on the 17th and 18th at the National Asia Culture Center International Conference Room.
This forum is part of the ACT Festival (Art & Creative Technology Festival) held at the National Asia Culture Center, jointly hosted by the GIST Korea Institute of Cultural Technology and the Asia Culture Institute.
The theme of the forum is 'Cultural Heritage and Digital Convergence,' aimed at sharing cases of content combining the digitization of cultural heritage and immersive media technology, and exploring the future direction of creation and production projects.
On the first day of the forum, the focus will be on presentations of immersive content supported by the National Asia Culture Center, introducing the content development process and discussing future tasks.
The GIST Korea Institute of Cultural Technology plans to present on 3D data and digital heritage related to the immersive content currently under development,
On the second day of the forum, experts from various fields will give presentations on cultural technology for utilizing cultural heritage and AI-based cultural technology.
Professor Yoo Dong-hwan of Konkuk University will present on 'Digital Museum Paradigm Shift, Intuitive and Immersive Exhibition Content,' and speakers such as Dr. Park Jin-ho, an expert in digital restoration of cultural assets, and Director Park Ki-joo of WYSIWYG Studio will present on cultural heritage reproduction using AI technology and future prospects.
