[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] E1 announced on the 15th that it will actively promote a future-type complex charging station business that combines liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) with hydrogen and electric charging. To this end, it introduced a new brand called E1 Orange Plus.
The complex charging station covers not only the existing LPG fuel charging space but also hydrogen and electric vehicle charging, as well as comprehensive vehicle-related convenience services such as premium car washing, cafes, and convenience stores. In the future, it plans to link O2O (Online to Offline) services connected with both online and offline channels.
On the 11th, a brand launch event was held at the Seongnam Energy Complex Charging Station in Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province. This location will operate as a pilot station applying the Orange Plus brand. Currently, in addition to LPG charging facilities, it operates facilities capable of continuously charging five hydrogen vehicles per hour and six 100 kW-class electric vehicle fast chargers. While preparing to add car wash facilities and a cafe, it also plans to provide membership services for hydrogen and electric vehicle charging customers.
