Choi Yoon, OK Financial Chairman, Receives Appreciation Plaque from Middle and High School Volleyball Federation for Contributions to Youth Volleyball Development
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] OK Financial Group announced on the 15th that Chairman Choi Yoon received a plaque of appreciation from the Korea Middle and High School Volleyball Federation for his contributions to supporting volleyball hopefuls and the development of youth volleyball. Chairman Choi also serves as the chairman of the OK Baejeong Scholarship Foundation, established by the group’s affiliates.
The OK Financial Group’s Utman professional volleyball team and the OK Baejeong Scholarship Foundation had promised to award volleyball scholarships to the MVPs of the middle and high school divisions in the middle and high school volleyball tournaments. The scholarships were funded by donations voluntarily collected by the volleyball team players. The foundation added additional funds through a matching grant method, raising a total of 40 million KRW.
