Tmon Establishes Exclusive Farm in Jeju and Sells Seasonal Fruit Tangerines
Fresh brand 'Tifresh' launched... Enhancing competitiveness in fresh food products
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] TMON announced on the 15th that it is launching its own fresh food brand 'T-Fresh' and will actively promote the D2C (Direct to Consumer) model, which involves direct sales from producers. The first product is seasonal fruit, tangerines.
TMON plans to offer high-quality products through its own fresh food brand T-Fresh. To this end, it directly contracts with farmers and fishermen nationwide who produce excellent quality agricultural, livestock, and marine products, establishes 'exclusive farms,' and ships products directly from production sites. Since there are no intermediate distribution stages, it can increase product freshness and reduce distribution costs. This means that tangerines harvested by farmers in the morning can be received at the customer's doorstep the next day.
The standards for quality control are also clear. Depending on the product, guidelines for sweetness, weight, and shape are set, and only high-quality products that exceed these standards are sold. For the seasonal fruit tangerines, which are being introduced for the first time under the T-Fresh brand, only products harvested from exclusive farms in Jeju Island with a sweetness level of 12 Brix or higher are selected and sold.
In addition, TMON implements a 'free return if not tasty' policy for T-Fresh brand products. Since products are sold according to strict quality standards, if customers are dissatisfied with the purchased product, they can apply through the TMON customer center by the day after receiving the product, and free returns and product collection will be supported. Going forward, TMON plans to expand the T-Fresh product line to include more agricultural, livestock, and marine products.
