KCCI and Environmental Research Institute Strengthen Cooperation for Carbon Neutrality
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Korea Environment Institute signed a memorandum of understanding on the 15th regarding research on climate change response and industrial policy for the transition to a carbon-neutral society. According to this agreement, the two organizations will share information on reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Korea, climate change response policies, and the spread of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, and conduct joint research to address current issues. They will hold working-level meetings to discuss ways to achieve carbon neutrality goals, climate change response, strengthening industrial competitiveness, and spreading ESG management, and exchange research personnel and published knowledge information.
