Goyang Flower Exhibition Hall 'Flower Book Cafe' Reopens from the 16th
Approximately 63,000 Volumes Available, Themed Spaces Provided
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] The Goyang International Flower Exhibition Foundation announced on the 12th that the "Flower Book Cafe," which had been closed due to the installation of vaccination facilities, will reopen to the public starting from the 16th.
The Goyang Flower Exhibition Hall's "Flower Book Cafe," reappearing after about seven months, is a relaxation space where citizens can freely visit year-round to enjoy flowers and books together, housing approximately 63,000 volumes.
In addition to general bookshelves featuring literature and non-fiction, there are also sections related to floriculture and plants, as well as themed spaces for children and adolescents.
A separate corner exhibits 72 suiseki (viewing stones) artworks reminiscent of flowers, turtles, and caves, along with the 9-meter-tall giant book tree artwork called "Wonderland."
There are also auxiliary facilities such as the "Flower Academy," which offers various permanent programs including horticultural styling, florist training, and courses for obtaining floral decoration technician certification, as well as the "Flower Cafeteria," where visitors can enjoy beverages and snacks.
