The Board of Audit and Inspection welcomed a new head five months after former Chairman Choi Jae-hyung resigned on June 28 due to his presidential election candidacy. The National Assembly held a plenary session on the 11th and passed the confirmation bill for the Chairman with 223 votes in favor, 23 against, and 6 abstentions.
