View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On Friday the 12th, there will be occasional rain or snow in the western coast of Chungnam, Jeolla region, and inland Chungcheong region.
The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that the Chungcheong region, Jeolla region, and western inland Gyeongsang will see about 5 to 10mm of rain until the afternoon, and Jeju mountain areas will receive rain until night.
By 9 a.m. that day, rain will change to snow in the northern inland Chungnam area, central and southern Chungbuk, and eastern Jeonbuk, accumulating less than 1cm of snow. Jeju mountain areas are expected to accumulate about 1 to 3cm of snow.
With the influx of cold air, the morning low temperatures will be around 0 degrees Celsius mainly inland, and below minus 5 degrees Celsius in Gangwon inland and mountain areas. Strong winds will make the perceived temperature even lower, so the elderly and weak should avoid outdoor activities as much as possible, and outdoor workers should pay attention to maintaining body temperature.
As of 7 a.m., temperatures are 1.5°C in Seoul, -2.4°C in Chuncheon, 3.1°C in Incheon, 1.0°C in Suwon, 4.0°C in Cheongju, 3.4°C in Daejeon, 2.7°C in Andong, 6.1°C in Daegu, 4.4°C in Gwangju, 6.6°C in Busan, 6.5°C in Yeosu, and 11.3°C in Jeju. The highest daytime temperature will be between 7 and 13 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust concentration is expected to be 'Good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.
On the west coast, Jeju Island, and Gangwon mountain areas, winds will blow strongly at 6 to 12 meters per second, with gusts exceeding 15 meters per second, so caution is required for facility management and safety accidents.
