KT, EcoPeace and Two Other Companies Awarded in 'Warm Technology Plus Challenge' Excellence Awards
Final Performance Presentation Held on the 10th
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] KT announced on the 10th that it held the final performance presentation of the 'Warm Technology Plus Challenge' at the KT Gwanghwamun East Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul.
The presentation was attended by KT CEO Koo Hyun-mo, Cha Jung-hoon, Director of the Startup Venture Innovation Office at the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, Jung Hyun-gon, President of the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency, and Song Kyung-yong, Chairman of the Korea Social Value Solidarity Fund.
The Warm Technology Plus Challenge project is a contest conducted by KT in collaboration with the Korea Social Value Solidarity Fund to foster social economy enterprises.
Last November, KT selected six social economy enterprises?Ecoppis, Opatech, Poinhand, AI Goodwill Voice, Say Global, and Together Walking Media Lab?as support targets through the contest. Since then, KT has provided IT capability transfer and technical mentoring for one year to help the selected companies grow into technology innovation-oriented structures suitable for the digital era.
At this final performance presentation, the achievements of the participating companies were announced, and awards were given to three outstanding companies: Ecoppis, Opatech, and Poinhand.
Chae In-won, CEO of Ecoppis, said, “Through the Warm Technology Plus Challenge, we were able to acquire various technologies that KT possesses as well as receive management consulting for the sustainable growth of our company. In particular, through collaboration with KT, we secured small robot swarm driving technology and have achieved results by participating in various projects such as smart green cities together with KT.”
